The support the Association has received from communities all across the state of North Carolina, has been overwhelming. We cannot express how much we appreciate everything that has been donated to our fire suppression efforts on multiple wildland fires across western North Carolina. This support has certainly helped us keep the volunteer and paid forces refreshed and hydrated during their long hours on the fire lines as they worked to save our beautiful communities and towns from catastrophic damage. Thank you from all of the agencies supporting this fire fight.

We have had several inquiries from individual corporations and citizens if they could support us financially as well. In order to support this request an account has been set up through Skyland Fire and Rescue Department   (501-C3) to accept monetary donations. This fund will be used to supply grant funding to any western North Carolina fire department that has unmet needs as a result of their involvement with any of the wildland firefighting efforts.
