Current Status |
· The fire is currently
estimated at 6,435 acres in steep terrain with an estimated containment of 80%.
· Dry conditions will
continue for the next couple of days. Relative humidity will drop to the
upper 20% range. A front is expected to move through the area by next Tuesday
bringing a much needed rain.
· Firefighters worked hot
spots that were detected today as relative humidity dropped and winds
increased.
· Air resources flew the
fire today and directed crews to smoke over the fire area where reburn was
present.
· Resources are continuing
to be released to help with other wildfires within the region.

Continue mop up and hold the fire line in all divisions
and improve fire lines. Structure
