11/24/16 A Special Thanksgiving Thank You from USFS Regional Forester Tony Tooke

Happy Thanksgiving! Today we give thanks for the many men and women who are working today on firelines across the Southern Area.  Over 6,000 firefighters from Alaska to Maine, and almost every state in between, have come to battle the blazes burning across six southern states.  This fall we are experiencing unprecedented fire activity and are grateful for their help, and will be just as grateful for their safe return home to their families.  USFS Regional Forester, Tony Tooke, sends his thanks in this special Thanksgiving message to fire personnel.
