A fire ban has been issued for the Uwharrie National Forest on November 22, 2016. The fire ban prohibits building, maintaining, attending or using a fire or campfire (including charcoal based fire whether contained in a grill or not). The fire ban will remain in effect until further notice.
Note: Commercially available fuel stoves (camp stoves) are excluded from this restriction.
