Our task is assisting with coordinating the placement of moving
all resources throughout the region. These
ground and aviation resources are coordinated and assigned based on incident needs
and priorities. A recent example of this
is the Chimney Top 2 Fire in Tennessee.
The coordination that quickly took place resulted in a plane load of
crews, that was headed home, was turned around to assist in Gatlinburg.
